About Us

Chan Thai has been in Bishop Arts for over 20 years and Pho 88 has been around for over 10. Previously, the two restaurants operated separately. The pandemic presented many challenges to our business and with those challenges came changes. One of those changes has been the consolidation of the two restaurants into one, sharing the same building, bar, kitchen, and private parking!

We value our place in the community and we hope our welcoming ambiance brings together people from all over Dallas. We spent over 20 long years in our previous location, and we will forever cherish the moments we made and the people we’ve met. We also hope those memories and our lovely customers follow us to our new location on Davis street!

Chan Thai and Pho 88 is owned and managed by a local Oak Cliff family. At the end of the day, this institution is a family business and we treat all of our customers like family. You will see familiar faces that will welcome you with open arms and help you navigate your way through our different Thai and Vietnamese options.

We offer quality Thai cuisine as well as some of Vietnam's most popular dishes like Pho Noodle Soup and Banh Mi sandwiches. We offer lunch specials as well as happy hour specials, so you can visit us with friends or family and enjoy our spacious outdoor patio!
